About the Clash of Claydons 2026
The Course
The Clash of Claydons 10K will take runners around the local area, before a complete tour of Steeple Claydon, offering a scenic route that mixes village roads, quiet country lanes and open rural views.

The course is designed to be enjoyable, achievable and rewarding, with enough variety to keep things interesting from start to finish. It’s suitable for both experienced runners and those taking on a 10K challenge for the first time.

The event village and event parking will be located at Embers Claydon Campsite, which will act as the main arrival point for runners and spectators on race day.
All participants should plan to travel directly to the campsite unless otherwise instructed in the final runner guide. From there, runners will be able to access the event village, parking, toilets, registration or bib collection if required, and the start/finish area.
Please allow plenty of time to arrive, park and make your way through the event village before the race starts. Access routes, parking instructions and any local traffic guidance will be shared with participants closer to race day.
Where possible, runners and spectators are encouraged to car share to help reduce congestion around the local village roads.
Please follow all event signage and marshal instructions when arriving and leaving the site.

The event will take place on Sunday 13th September 2026.
Participants should arrive in plenty of time to park, collect anything required, use facilities and make their way to the start area. Full timings will be confirmed in the official runner information pack closer to race day.
Expected race day schedule:
Event village opens: 9:30am
Race starts: 11:00am
Finish area closes: 14:00pm
Runners will receive final race-day instructions ahead of the event, including details on arrival times, bib collection, facilities, baggage, toilets and start-line procedures.
Please listen carefully to marshal instructions on the day and follow all event signage.

Our event village is an element we pride ourselves in, with local vendors and entertainment to keep all ages entertained, from coffees to cakes, DJ's to face painting, burgers and cupcakes, we have it all covered for you.
